"Seizing the Reins: Transforming New Jersey with Grit and Determination"

Dear People of New Jersey,

I stand before you today not as a polished politician, but as someone who understands what it means to face uphill battles, to be underestimated, and to keep pushing forward despite the odds. I’m running for Governor because I believe in New Jersey—our potential, our resilience, and the collective power we have when we make our voice heard.

In many ways, our journey reminds me of Seabiscuit, the underdog racehorse who captured the heart of a nation during difficult times. Seabiscuit wasn’t the biggest or the strongest, and many didn’t believe he had what it took to succeed. But with determination, a clear vision, and the right team, he proved everyone wrong and became a symbol of hope.

Like Seabiscuit, our state has been underestimated. People see the challenges we face—rising costs, environmental concerns, and the need for better healthcare—and think the odds are stacked against us. But I see something different. I see an opportunity. I see a state with the grit and determination to lead the way, not just for ourselves but for the entire country.

Imagine a New Jersey where we create 50,000 new jobs by championing clean energy solutions—manufacturing solar panels, training workers, and transforming our economy. Picture a state where our schools are powered by renewable energy, our children learn in thriving gardens, and every family can afford fresh, organic food grown right here at home.

Think about what it would mean to lead the nation as the first fully organic farming state, providing healthy, local food to our hospitals, nursing homes, and schools while supporting farmers and protecting our environment.

But I know it’s not just about jobs and sustainability—it’s about protecting your rights, reducing your taxes, and ensuring your voice is heard. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing my vision and real solutions to make this happen. Together, we will fight to uphold our First Amendment rights, get money out of politics so the voices of the people—not corporate interests—drive decision-making, and reduce taxes with a transparent, accountable budget.

This is the New Jersey I believe in. A state that takes the reins of its destiny, much like Seabiscuit did on the racetrack, and races toward a brighter, more sustainable, and more just future.

But just like Seabiscuit didn’t win alone, I can’t do this alone. It will take all of us working together, believing in what’s possible, and refusing to give up no matter how tough the road ahead gets.
